Zalman announced the CNPS5X, a new budget processor cooler designed for highly overclocked dual-core or mildly overclocked quad-core processors. The cooler features a copper base, three 8mm heatpipes, an aluminium fin array and a 92mm fan (1400-2800RPM) with a noise level of 20 to 32dBA. It weighs just 320g and measures 127mm x 62mm x 134mm (L x W x H).

The Intel LGA1366 platform is not officially supported, but other than that the cooler supports all modern CPUs, including the Intel LGA775/1156/1155 and AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3 series. Intel processors are installed with push-pins and a fixed clip is included for AMD sockets.

The cooler will start shipping in December for 26.90EUR.
