20 to 30 million non-iPad tablets to ship next year?

Sources at Taiwanese component makers told DigiTimes that up to 20-30 million tablets, excluding the Apple iPad, may ship in 2011:
There will be 20-30 million tablet PCs, not including iPads, shipped to the global market in 2011, according to Taiwan-based component makers

While handset vendors are inclined to adopt Qualcomm-developed baseband chips in combination with multimedia processors for their tablet PCs, notebook vendors prefer solutions based on GPUs plus baseband chips, the sources indicated.
