Sunbeamtech announced the Twister 120, a new CPU cooler with three direct-touch heatpipes, a large aluminium fin array and a 120mm fan with a Rheosmart PCI controller and a noise level as low as 16dBA. The cooler measures 125mm x 60mm x 151mm (L x W x H) and weighs 531g without fan. Pricing and availability is unknown.
Opposites attract, even in cooling
In the never ending battle to tame the CPU heat, it is not possible to keep on increasing the size of the heatsink. Sunbeamtech took an innovative approach and came up with the ISO-Turbo Technology which incorporates 2 fans that are spinning in opposite direction. Compared to the traditional approach, the ISO-Turbo Technology provides higher airflow efficiency which translates to higher heat dissipation capability.

More control for you freaks
Sunbeamtech also includes a Rheosmart PCI controller to provide you the flexibility to either use the onboard PWM for automatic control of the fan speed or manually by hand using the turn knob. This addition really extends the control you have over the CPU cooling.

The TWISTER 120 incorporates our newest ISO-Turbo Technology for increased cooling. The dual 120mm MFDB fan spins in opposite direction which allows for more concentrated airflow, combined with the three 8mm heat pipes and large fin area, the TWISTER 120 offers one of the best cooling capabilities in its class. To ensure that the maximum cooling performance is obtained, we have also included our highest performing thermal compound, the TX-4. Furthermore, We also provide The Rheosmart Fan Controller. This “Smart Cooling System” operates in two different modes; when connected to a PWM-enabled motherboard, you can allow the system to auto-adjust fan speed through the motherboard’s temperature sensor. When switched into manual mode by pressing the small button below each knob, you turn that specific channel into manual control mode.
