WD Caviar Blue 6Gbps SATA HDD arrive

Western Digital introduced new Caviar Blue 3.5" HDDs with a SATA 6Gbps interface. These disks run at 7200RPM and feature the Advanced Format with 4K sectors.

The new lineup is available in 250GB, 320GB, 500GB, 750GB and 1TB capacities. The 500GB and lower models have 16MB cache while the 750GB and 1TB versions offer 32MB of cache.

The new Caviar Blue HDDs are listed in Europe at €32.85 (250GB), €33.25 (320GB), €34.49 (500GB), €45.10 (750GB) and €53.19 (1TB).
