revealed the minimum order of Tegra 2 chips is a batch of 100,000 units:
A batch of 100,000 sounds like pretty big number but Nvidia's sales machine doesn’t want to bother with smaller fish. We do know that LG and Motorola are at least two companies who got probably even more than 100,000 chips but we would doubt that Point of View got 100K of these chips for its Tegra 2 tablet.
Tegra developers kept asking Nvidia for most of 2010 to buy smaller quantities but Nvidia didn't want to do it. Good thing is that Colibri Tegra T20 design kit was supposed to be available in Q4 2010, but we could not confirm whether this happened. The latest info said that this module was supposed to be available in December.
