Apple updates Power Mac G5 with dual 2.0GHz, 2.3GHz and 2.7GHz models

Apple announced three new Power Mac G5 products today, bringing its professional Mac to dual 2.7GHz. The company also offers a dual 2.0GHz and a dual 2.3GHz Power Mac G5.
"With dual 2.7 GHz 64-bit G5 processors, dual 1.35 GHz front side buses, ATI Radeon 9650 graphics, 16X SuperDrive with double-layer support and Mac OS X Tiger, the new Power Mac G5 is the most powerful and advanced Mac we have ever made," Schiller said.
All three units will start shipping on Friday and will include Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. The Dual 2.0GHz, Dual 2.3GHz and Dual 2.7GHz cost respectively $1,999 , $2,499 and $2,999. More system specifications at MacNewsWorld
