MSI chairman Joseph Hsu revealed his company will outsource some of its notebook production to Taiwan-based ODMs beginning 2011 mainly due to unstable labor supply in China.
Micro-Star International (MSI) will outsource a portion of its notebooks to Taiwan-based ODMs beginning 2011 mainly due to unstable labor supply in China. It will not consider EMS providers for the time being, according to company chairman Joseph Hsu.

MSI has made efforts in R&D of high-end notebooks featuring online gaming in 2010 and expects shipments in 2011 to increase significantly, Hsu noted. In January 2011, MSI will launch U270, a 12-inch netbook based on AMD Brazos platform.
