CES '11: Lenovo Showcase
We stopped by Aquanox at The Velentia hotel where Lenovo was showcasing all of their latest products including the new Edge X120e and E220s which are on my watch list for some of the best laptops for this year. Other laptops showcased included the gorgeous U260 and the powerful gaming rig G570.



CES '11: ASUS Shows Honeycomb Tablets
Unless Apple does something really magical with the follow up to the iPad, 2011 will be the year for Honeycomb as far as tablets are concered. We checked out ASUS’ booth showing four tablets, three of which are based on Android and one on Windows 7. Out of the two Android tablets, the transformer and the slider stand out. Also impressive, was ASUS’ concept of stretchable LCD display called IRIS. Check out the gallery of the ASUS booth followed by videos of the two Android devices.



AMD Compares Brazo Thermals, Throws Water On Atom
This afternoon at CES 2011, AMD representatives took the opportunity to not only showcase a number of thin-and-light notebook/netbook design wins that they've pulled down for their new Zecate Fusion processor and the Brazo platform, but also to showcase the platform's thermal performance characteristics versus a competitive dual core Intel Atom solution. In short, AMD claims the days of sweaty palms and lap warmer notebooks are gone...



CES 2011: IOGEAR HTPC Keyboards and 3D/HD Media Streamer
IOGEAR showed off their latest HTPC Keyboards and 3D/HD Media Streamers at Pepcom's Digital Experience yesterday. Their GKM611B multi-link Bluetooth keyboard and their GW3DKIT Wireless 3D Media Kit look to be quality products in the exploding HTPC market.

"The first items IOGEAR showed us were their HTPC keyboards. What's nice about these are the mouse features built into the keyboard itself either via trackball or touchpad. The GKM611B Multi-link Bluetooth Keyboard with Touchpad can control up to six Bluetooth devices within a 30 foot radius. It expects to ship late Q1 with an MSRP of around $80...."
