NVIDIA and LG have teamed up to build the next generation of smart phones now being called 'super phones'. The LG Optimus 2X is being launched now with NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor. This makes the Optimus 2X the new performance king of smart phones. You can even check out the CEO of NVIDIA play a round of Angry Birds during their press conference!

CoolIT Press Conference at CES 2011 - Bye, Bye CoolIT - BCCHardware
We had a chance to attend the CES 2011 Press Conference from CoolIT Systems and it was a bit different than we thought it would be. Goodbye CoolIT Systems?

Sceptre @ CES 2011
We had a chance to take a tour of the Sceptre Suite and found that they may in fact be a name to watch in 2011. They had their glory days and seem to want them back. Some interesting products as well as some possible misses... Details below.

CES Coverage Day 1 @ OCC
A few other goodies that were on display for us were custom made cases from NFC Systems. These cases were hand-made specifically for Sapphire for the CES 2011 event. The first case is a smaller design for home theater use. Inside is an ITX motherboard with a 2.5" laptop hard drive and even a Blu-ray drive designed for space-saving, yet awesome power. The second was a custom case designed for an upcoming unnamed motherboard paired with a CrossFire set of graphic cards. What I was most amazed with was that the case used bullet-proof glass for the light logo."

Archos Android at CES 2011
We are all coming to love Tablets - even if we don't really love them or have a use for them and one company that is positioned to deal out some damage is Archos. More details below.

Patriot @ CES 2011
We had a chance to sit down and chat with Trendnet about their latest products and what makes a good networking company. Check out our Press-Day coverage here...

CES 2011 – Futurelooks Press Day Round Up
Even before the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show officially opens its doors, we are offered a sneak preview into what to expect via what is known as “Press Day.” It’s a whole day of press conferences, meaning I had a lot of lining up and fighting for seats to do. Even so, the wait is definitely worth it, because some pretty big announcements happen at these things. So, what did we see?
CES 2011: Gigabyte Press Conference @ ThinkComputers.org
Quote: “Gigabyte invited us over to the Venetian for their press conference. Unlike many press conferences that we have gone to this one was themed. Gigabyte went with a military war theme that actually was pretty cool. So why did Gigabyte go with this theme? It was to promote their new G1-Killer Gaming Series motherboards. So let’s see what these motherboards are all about and what Gigabyte has in store for 2011."
