I also believe strongly on the fact that although you own your PS3 and you should be able to do what you want with it, you do not own the Playstation Network, it’s a service you are receiving while you abide to the service provider’s terms of use. So I think that, not only developers shouldn’t mess with the Playstation Network, but also users should act responsibly and not connect to PSN with a modified firmware. You either take the service or the console, you can’t have both.Read more at CHW.
