Kingston announced a new series of ValueRAM server memory with independent validation by Advanced Validation Labs (AVL).
Kingston Technology, Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced a series of ValueRAM® Server Premier memory solutions have been independently validated for use with Super Micro Computer, Inc. server boards. The independent certification was undertaken by Advanced Validation Labs (AVL), a technology services company specializing in testing and validating pre- and post-production memory. AVL fulfills the validation and testing needs of major OEMs and motherboard manufacturers worldwide.

"System builders and integrators have long used Supermicro's high-quality server boards in a multitude of platforms," said Hanni Eid, ValueRAM server business manager, Kingston®. "Our Server Premier line offers unique features in addition to being fully AVL-validated and compatible with these builds. To make it easier for our mutual customer base to get more information and find the right Kingston memory solutions for Supermicro boards, we've developed a special Web page."

The Web page, http://www.valueram.com/supermicro, lists current tested platforms and qualification data. Kingston's ValueRAM Server Premier is manufactured using a locked bill-of-materials (BOM) for customers who require the brand and revision of PCB and die to always remain the same from qualification through actual server deployment. AVL certification guarantees 100-percent memory compatibility with the Supermicro boards listed on the Web site.

Kingston ValueRAM Server Premier memory modules have a lifetime warranty and are backed by 24/7 technical support. Customers are notified in advance of impending BOM changes via a Product Change Notification (PCN) process.
