Lenovo presents the ThinkPad X120e, a 11.6" laptop that starts at just $399. For this price you get the AMD E-240 (1.5GHz, single-core) APU, Windows 7 Home Premium, integrated Radeon HD 6310 graphics, 2GB DDR3, 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and a 3-cell li-ion battery (40Wh).
The most serious downside, as far as I can tell, is the bundled battery, which only has three cells and a 40 Wh rating. Stepping up to the six-cell, 56 Wh model in Lenovo's configurator will only set you back an extra $50, but there's no option above that.
