Sparkle is working on the GeForce GTX 580 Thermal Guru, a new model that focuses on lower temperatures and a quiet experience. The Thermal Guru has the same hardware specifications as the stock GeForce GTX 580, it has a 772MHz core, 1544MHz shaders and 1536MB GDDR5 clocked at 4008MHz.

With differentiates the Thermal Guru from the reference model is its cooling solution. Sparkle equipped this new card with a large heatsink, it features four direct-touch copper heatpipes, a large aluminium fin array and two 80mm fans painted with Sparkle's distinctive purple color. According to Sparkle's marketing machine, the Thermal Guru is equipped with a specially-designed cover that supposedly enhances the efficiency of heat dissipation, while reducing wear and tear on the fan.

Outputs include dual-DVI plus Mini-HDMI, but unfortunately no DisplayPort. Pricing and availability is unknown.
