ASUS Mini-ITX motherboards to come with cardboard case

German tech site ComputerBase saw a new green computing initiative from ASUS at CeBIT. The motherboard maker has developed a cardboard packaging that can double serve as a computer case for a Mini-ITX motherboard. The packaging is expected to be used for some future motherboards, obviously it's not as durable as a real computer case but it seems quite functional and it's even strong enough to support a large optical drive.
