Kingston adds new SODIMMs for Huron River laptops

Kingston introduced two new dual-channel HyperX SODIMM memory kits for laptops based on the Intel Huron River platform. Both modules offer 1600MHz and CL9-9-9-27 timings at a voltage of 1.5V. The 4GB kit has a suggested retail price of $67 and the 8GB version should cost around $122.
Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced the release of new HyperX® 4GB and 8GB 1600MHz SO-DIMM kits. The dual-channel, plug and play CL9 memory kits are the fastest modules on the market specifically designed to support notebooks and mobile platforms using the new 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Mobile Processor Family, codenamed ‘Huron River.’
