Gigabyte Radeon HD 6970 WindForce 3X revealed

Gigabyte has prepared a new Radeon HD 6970 graphics card with its WindForce 3X cooling solution, which uses three heatpipes, a vapor chamber and three PWM fans.

The card features 2GB GDDR5 clocked at 5500MHz and the core features is overclocked to 900MHz, an increase of 20MHz compared to the reference model.

Outputs include dual-DVI, HDMI and one DisplayPort, and the card is expected to be bundled with a 1.8m long HDMI cable with gold-plated connectors. Pricing and availability is unknown.
