Canon signs up for Intel Thunderbolt technology

Intel announced that Canon will support the Intel Thunderbolt technology:

Following its recent launch, Intel’s Thunderbolt technology has gotten yet another endorsement, this time from leading camera maker Canon. Hiroo Edakubo, Group Executive of Canon’s Video Products Group stated, "We are excited about Thunderbolt technology and feel it will bring new levels of performance and simplicity to the video creation market." Canon joins a growing list of companies looking to build products using Thunderbolt technology.
