Dell introduced its new 14", 15", and 17" Inspiron R notebooks. This new series uses Intel's Sandy Bridge processor lineup, there's USB 3.0 support and the Inspiron 15R model offers up to 13 hours of battery life with a 9-cell battery. One of the new features is SWITCH, a mechanism that lets you replace your notebook's lid with one of the 25 new designs from Dell. Personally I don't really see the benefit of this, especially when you consider that one of these fancy lids costs at least $39.99.
The new Inspiron R series joins Dell’s expansive collection of laptops and desktops equipped with the latest Intel processors and are fun, stylish and lightning quick.
