Two ASUS Fusion netbooks now available for preorder

TC Mag reports ASUS' Eee PC 1015B and 1215B are now available for preorder, with estimated shipping date of April 1st, 2011. Both netbooks feature AMD's Fusion, the 1015B has a single-core 1.2GHz C-50 APU, while the 1215B is equipped with the dual-core 1GHz C-50 chip.
Priced at $289 , the 1015B features a Seashell design, an LED-backlit (1024 x 600) display, a 1.2 GHz C-30 single-core APU (accelerated processing unit) with integrated Radeon HD 6250 graphics, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, a memory card reader (supporting MMC/SDHC), and a 6-cell battery which is good for up to 8.5 hours of life.

The 1215B costs $379 and has similar specs, with a few exceptions - the larger display with a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and the built-in APU - this one boasting the 1.0 GHz C-50 dual-core (same DX11 graphics as the C-30). The Eee PC 1015B has Windows 7 Starter pre-installed while the 1215B uses Windows 7 Home Premium.
