MSI announces compatibility with AMD AM3+ CPUs

MSI released a list of its existing motherboards that will support AMD's upcoming AM3+ processors via a BIOS update:
Worldwide renowned graphics card and mainboard manufacturer MSI is pleased to announce its mainboard compatibility with future AM3+ multi-core processors. AMD’s brand new AM3+ multi-core processors are based on AMD’s Bulldozer technology and feature up to eight cores and large amounts of cache memory. With MSI’s AMD 800 series mainboards with AM3+ CPU support everyone can enjoy the benefits of the new 32nm processors with 2nd generation Turbo Core technology.

Easy upgrade path
MSI’s AMD 800 series mainboards offer the easiest upgrade trajectory for AMD’s future AM3+ CPUs. By offering compatibility with a simple BIOS upgrade end-users are guaranteed future compatibility on their current mainboard. This allows end-users to start with a simple dual-core processor today and scale up to an eight core (octa-core) processor when the higher performance is required by todays and future games and applications.
