Bigfoot Networks and Gaikai to minimize cloud gaming latency

Bigfoot Networks announced a deal with game network Gaikai to minimize latency in games streamed from the cloud. The company's hope their cooperation will result in cloud gaming with new levels of speed and responsiveness.
Bigfoot Networks, the technology company behind the Killer® line of networking products for online games, has allied with the groundbreaking game network Gaikai to minimize latency in games streamed from the cloud. Together the two companies aim to take cloud gaming to new levels of speed and responsiveness, company executives said today.

Unlike traditional games, which are downloaded or installed on the player's computer, cloud games are streamed live over the Internet, making them accessible on a wide range of devices.
