TC Mag received info about the Alpenföhn K2, an upcoming processor cooler that will take on Noctua's NH-D14. It offers a twin-tower heatsink design with a nickel-plated copper base, eight 6mm nickel-plated copper heatpipes and two 140mm Wing Boost fans. The K2 is expected to retail for around 75EUR.
The central 140mm spinner is supposed to operate at 1500 RPM, while the 120mm fan works at about 1300 RPM. A third fan can be installed if the motherboard design allows it.
