Eurocom benches mobile graphics cards

Eurocom published results of the AMD Radeon HD6970M, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 485M, 470M, and 460M mobile graphics cards, you can check it out over here.
Eurocom has been testing various high performance MXM 3.0b VGA cards in its fully upgradable Intel HM65 Sandy Bridge EUROCOM Racer notebook. Eurocom supports a number of VGA cards in every system to offer clients specific price/performance ratios to meet their demanding requirements.

The following cards were tested:
NVIDIA Geforce 485M,
NVIDIA Geforce 470M,
NVIDIA Geforce 460M,
AMD Radeon HD 6970M.

Each card was tested in the above platform using 3DMark 11, 3DMark Vantage, 3D Mark 06 and Unigine Heaven 2.1.

The 485M and HD 6970 are neck and neck really. Many buyers are this point are considering price and driver support as motivation to purchase.

However Eurocom is to be given high praise for displaying scores across a variety of cards, while keeping the rest of the platform powerful, yet constant. More folks should be testing mobile cards in this way where possible, using each available card on the same machine platform to give purchasers quality information on just what they are getting by their choices.
