French tech site Hardware.fr published a new edition of its hardware failure rate report. It uses data from a large unnamed French e-tailer, the statistics are from units sold between April 1, 2010 and October 1, 2010, and for returns created before April 2011, thus covering six months to one year of operation.

The brand statistics are based on a minimum sample of 500 sales, while model data is based on a minimum sample of 100 sales. You can check it out over here, it's in French but you can also read it Google translated over here.
