Research firm Displaybank estimates a third of cell phones sold this year will feature a touchscreen, and expects this well rise to 50 percent in 2014.
Research firm Displaybank is predicting that the 2011 touch panel market will show a 76% on-year growth and reach $10.42 billion thanks to increased demand for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.

Small-size touch panels are especially on uber-high demand, so much so that, according to Displaybank, one in three mobile phones in 2011 and one in two in 2014 will be equipped with a touchscreen.
