ASUS to roll out update to Android 3.1 to all tablet devices

ASUS announced it will upgrade all its Eee Pad tablet devices to Android 3.1:
Following Google’s recent announcement of the Android 3.1 update, ASUS today confirms that it will be providing the operating system updates to all its Eee Pad tablet devices.

This Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) upgrade for all its tablet devices will be released on a market by market basis. This online firmware update will include the Android 3.1 update. ASUS will announce the release date by early June.

Users will receive a notification on their Eee Pads once the update is released and this online firmware update can be done in just a few steps.

With Android 3.1, users can look forward to improvements in the UI, connectivity to various USB accessories, as well as updates to standards apps.
