Intel: Multiple MeeGo operating systems announced

Intel reports four operating system vendors plan to integrate the latest MeeGo common code base:
Today at the MeeGo Conference in San Francisco, four operating system vendors announced plans to integrate the latest version of the MeeGo common code base, MeeGo v1.2. Linpus, 4tiitoo AG, China Standard Software Company, and Red Flag Software will deliver the first MeeGo-based tablet operating systems that will feature a MeeGo-based user interface. The MeeGo-based Linpus and Red Flag Software operating systems will also support netbook devices. In addition, Red Flag will update its in-vehicle infotainment operating system to incorporate MeeGo 1.2.
