Antec introduces the High Current Gamer Plus PSU series at Computex, these models will ship in August in 550W, 650W and 750W editions.
It can be distinguished from the original High Current Gamer series by having a modular cabling system, a 135 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan (the fan used on the High Current Gamer units is a dual ball bearing model), and a DC-DC design. The High Current Gamer Plus power supplies will be compatible with the ATX12V v2.32 and EPS12V v2.92 standards, will have an active PFC circuit, four +12 V rails, 80 Plus Bronze certification, Japanese capacitors, and protections against over current (OCP), over voltage (OVP), short-circuit (SCP), over power (OPP), and over temperature (OTP) protections.
