Neowin reports Chrome's marketshare has hit 12.5 percent during the month of May, up from 11.9 percent the month before.
Microsoft has once again lost a small share of browser usage, dropping from 55.1 percent to 54.3, though there has been a marked increase in users trying out Microsoft’s new Internet Explorer 9 release, which has grown from 2.4 percent in April to 4.2 percent in May.

Firefox meanwhile, made another small user base increase, rising from 21.6 percent to 21.7 percent, and while Apple’s Safari browser has been showing a steady gain for the past few months, May saw just an increase from 7.2 percent to 7.3 percent over all.
