Valve considering games for Wii U

Posted on Thursday, June 23 2011 @ 20:32:05 CEST by

Game developer Valve revealed it's interested in creating games for Nintendo's upcoming Wii U console:
'Wii U seems to be a lot more powerful than the previous generation,' explained Valve founder Gabe Newell. 'It sort of fits better into the scalability in terms of graphics performance and CPU performance, so I think it'll be a lot easier for us to fit it into our scalability model.'

'We've always loved Nintendo,' he added, before suggesting the Wii U could represent the next stage in the transition from its PC-only origins to full multi-platform development.
