reports SiS will close down its PC chipset business by the end of the year and turn its focus entirely to chipsets for consumer electronics.
Due to SiS not having planned for a new PC chipsets in the past year, market watchers have been rumoring that SiS has already phased out its PC chipset business; however, although SiS has been refuting these rumors, the company has recently started to acquire some achievements in the consumer electronic chipset industry, and it has firmed up its future plans.
