OCWorkBench reports motherboards based on Intel's X79 chipset may hit the market in September, even though Intel's CPUs won't be ready yet.
The latest ‘tweet’ we received from our friends in the industry is the Intel X79 mainboards will be ready for some action as early as September this year. There will be some launch events in this part of the world.

On the other hand, processors will not be made available. Thus, manufacturers that launches their products will end up having difficulty promoting it with benchmark figures as these are not allowed.
