ASUS Ivy Bridge based ultrabooks slated for April 2012

DigiTimes reports ASUS plans to release ultrabooks based on Intel's Ivy Bridge platform in April 2012.
Asustek Computer will launch ultrabooks based on Intel's Ivy Bridge platform with prices to range from US$600-900 for the entry-level segment in April 2012 after the planned launch of 5-6 ultrabook models in October 2011, according to company CEO Jerry Shen.

The 11.6- and 13.3-inch ultrabooks launched in October will target the mid-range to high-end sectors with prices tentatively set at US$899 and upwards, Shen noted.
