Apple's iPod photo to get Tetris and image transitions

AppleInsider writes Apple will unveil a software update for its iPod photo series to add new features like image transitions and a game.

It is said the company will release iPod photo Software 1.2 later this month. The software will include new transition effects like mosaic, cube and fade for photo slide shows and will also add a color version of Tetris.

iPod users will be able to play Tetris with the iPod photo's click-wheel to move the blocks while the iPod click-button will perform block rotation. Check out AppleInsider for some photos.
