Thanks to a lawsuit Apple will give users who had battery problems with previous generations of its iPod a $50 voucher and extended warranty services.
In the fall of 2003, eight consumers filed a suit against Apple Computer Inc. claiming the iPod failed to live up to advertised claims that the rechargeable battery would last the product's lifetime and play music continuously for up to 10 hours.
This issue might affect more than 2 million people in the US. Currently people needed to pay $99 to get their battery replaced. More info at WashingtonPost
