Mars rover Opportunity is free again

After more than five weeks of being stuck in a dune NASA's mars rover Opportunity is now free again. On April 26 the wheels of the rover started to slip and when trying to drive over a foot-high sand dune Opportunity stopped moving as its wheels were hub-deep in soft soil.

NASA reports Opportunity is free again and that it has moved several feet across the dune. More details at USA Today
