NVIDIA has high hopes for tablet market

NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang expects non-Apple tablets will see significant growth in 2012, full details at DigiTimes. The article also points out that Windows on ARM (WoA) may miss its Q4 2012 launch target due to technical issues.
Although non-Apple tablet PCs are only expected to account for 30% of the worldwide tablet PC market, Nvidia CEO Huang Jen-hsun pointed out that after hardware and software platforms' compatibility is optimized, and performance is obviously enhanced, non-Apple tablet PCs are expected to see significant growth in 2012. In addition to Android, he also puts strong hopes on Windows, believing the market will be filled with many different platforms to bring related players more opportunities and challenges.
