ATI's R520 to score more than 10000 in 3DMark05

The Inquirer heard some rumours about the performance of ATI's R520 and NVIDIA's G70. It seems that the G70 (GeForce 7800) will score more in 3DMark05 than the rumoured 7800 score. They even say the GeForce 7800 will score 'quite better'.

But it will be slower than ATI's R520 which is rumoured to score more than 10000 in 3DMark05. It is said NVIDIA's G70 will perform less than ATI's R520 in the 3DMark05 benchmark.

This is actually even better or equal to two 6800 Ultra cards in SLI which kinds of makes it looks ridiculously fast. Imagine R520 in Crossfire, what ATI "cool chap" described as "Coolest technology ever" could do? Just double the number please. More details at The Inquirer
