Microsoft's largest-ever launch of products to follow in November

Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio will be launched in November, after numerous delays. The company also said it will launch software for Windows Server to handle data generated from RFID devices.
Other Microsoft programs, including its BizTalk server and SQL Server database, will be able to store and feed RFID data to back-end systems. Microsoft didn't say how the new software will be packaged. But it said the new software will be able to be embeddeded into other programs or used on its own.
Microsoft says the software will make RFID available at a low cost with a lot of flexibility. The company says the week of 7th November will become Microsoft largest-ever launch of products. Read more at Builder UK
