Samsung announced the SCH-S380 MP3 slider phone which will have 306MB of memory capacity for music storage. Mobilemag says most people were expecting it would come with a 4GB hard drive, so they are a bit disappointed because the phone 'only' features 306MB of storage capacity.

Recently Samsung unveiled the SGH-i300 Windows Mobile phone with quite some impressive features such as a 3GB HDD, MP3/WMA/AAC/AAC+/OGG support and also video message recording in MPEG4.

One of the unique features of the new Samsung SGH-S380 is its dual surround sound speakers to give the phone a live acoustical effect. It also features an easy jog-wheel to let the user quickly spin through menus, music, photos and other data. And another cool feature is its 1.3 megapixel camera.

The phone weights 88g and measures 91.1 x 37 x 24.11mm. The expected retail price is $400.
