AMD adds two new Bulldozer CPUs (FX-4170 and FX-6200)

AMD delivers two new Bulldozer processors; the FX-6200 and FX-4170.

The FX-6200 is a six-core chip with 3.8GHz clockspeed and 4.1GHz Turbo mode. The processor has 6MB L2 cache, 8MB L3 cache and a TDP of 125W.

The quad-core FX-4170 has the same TDP, it offers a 4.2GHz base clock, 4.3GHz Turbo, 4MB L2 cache and 8MB L3 cache. Pricing of these new processors isn't disclosed, but they should be available pretty soon.

In addition to introducing two new chips, AMD also dropped the pricing of the FX-6100 from $155 to $145, and the FX-8120 from $205 to $185.
