Apple iPad 3 launch slated for March 7th

Engadget received an invitation for what appears to be the launch event of Apple's iPad 3 tablet.

It will take place on Wednesday, March 7th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. The company is keeping things suitably vague beyond that, of course, promising only that it has "something you really have to see. And touch."
