DDR2 memory moving to higher capacities

Posted on Sunday, June 12 2005 @ 18:23:40 CEST by

Besides higher performance DDR2-1000 memory parts manufacturers also showed off memory with higher capacity. Kingston for instance was showing off its new Hyper-X DDR2-750 memory, available in capacities of 256MB, 512MB and 1GB - with matched pairs to 2GB.

TwinMOS was displaying 2GB ECC DDR2-533 memory modules, meaning that servers with 8GB of DDR2 ECC memory are now possible. More info at AnandTech
