DangerDen DD-7970 waterblock is out

TPU reports DangerDen has released the DD-7970, a new waterblock for AMD's reference Radeon HD 7970. The waterblock is available with a clear polycarbonate top or a satin-finished copper top, both versions have a MSRP of $114.95.
The DD-7970 is designed to provide coverage to all hot components on the obverse side of the PCB, including the 28 nm "Tahiti" GPU, 12 GDDR5 memory chips, and the VRM. Its coolant channel passes through the portion of the VRM, the portion over the GPU is ridged to increase surface area of dissipation. Options for the top include clear polycarbonate, and satin-finished copper. The polycarbonate top variant weighs 3 lbs, while the satin-finished copper variant weighs 4 lbs.
