Intel USB 3.0 controller much faster than others

The Tech Report compared Intel's USB 3.0 controller in the Z77 Express platform with four other USB 3.0 controllers and concludes Intel's solution is significantly faster than the competition. It took Intel quite a while to get its USB 3.0 controller to the market, but it appears it was well worth the wait:
