NVIDIA to debut GeForce 7800 on June 21

NVIDIA today confirmed the GeForce 7800 will be launched at the company's GeForce LAN 2.0 fan appreciation day on June 21. Three different versions of the GeForce 7800 (G70) are expected: GTX, GT and Standard.

The GeForce 7800 core is expected to run at 430MHz, with the memory running at 1.2GHz DDR and it is also rumoured to have 24 pixel pipelines. It is said that this graphics core will have 300 million transistors.
