NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX to be available at launch

NVIDIA partners and distributors said that a limited amount of GeForce 7800 cards will be immediately available next week when NVIDIA will debut the card at its GeForce LAN 2.0 fan appreciation day on June 21.

This will be quite a kick at ATI's high end market where it has its X850XT PE cards, as Nvidia will end up faster. Our sources suggest that card might get as many 3Dmark05 marks as its naming nomenclature number actually indicates. It's not going to be 7800 but it might be very close to that. We are talking about a single card while two cards should score much more than 10K. µ
