DigiTimes received notice that MSI plans to reveal a 11.6" Ultrabook Slider S20 in October or November. Set to cost around $799-$899, this combination of a tablet and ultrabook will weigh 1.3kg and be less than 2cm thick.
MSI's Slider S20 supports Bluetooth and USB 3.0 and is set to appear in the retail channel in October or November with a price of around US$799-899.

Meanwhile, MSI continues to push netbook products and has launched Wind U180, featuring Intel's Cedar Trail platform with Atom N2800 and Wind U270, featuring AMD's Brazos 2.0 processor.

MSI internally expects global netbook shipments will reach 15-18 million units in 2012 with Asustek Computer and Acer together to account for 8-9 million units, and the rest of the volume of about eight million units spread within markets such as China, the Middle-East, Latin America, and India. Therefore, MSI will not yet quit the netbook market, but will only release 1-2 models for the market.
