ROCCAT announces it will show off its latest innovations at next month's Gamescom
Under the slogan ‘ROCCAT™ Innovations’, we will be presenting the latest update of our revolutionary Power-Grid app for smartphones and our upcoming range of new ROCCAT products for the months ahead from August 15-19, 2012, at the world’s largest trade fair and event highlight for interactive games and entertainment in Cologne, Germany.
For our hotly anticipated ROCCAT Power-Grid app it will be the first public showing and we will also present initial prototypes of new products which will be released in the months ahead at this year’s gamescom. In the Consumer Area (Hall 7, Stand C 060), the ROCCStars of Gaming will once again be laying on the finest in techtainment on our 300m˛ stand. Nail-biting trailers and stunning light effects displayed on a gigantic LED video screen will take visitors’ breath away. The show will be accompanied with music by DJ ESKEI 83 – one of Europe’s TOP video DJs thanks to his collaboration with artists like Busta Rhymes and Marteria, and not least through his membership of the ‘Red Bull – Most Wanted DJs’ team.
The future has arrived: ROCCAT™ will be turning your smartphone into a PC gaming control center with its Power-Grid app, making it possible to control games in a totally new way. Danny ‘zonic’ Soerensen, Counter-Strike 1.6 gamer of global fame, and Dennis ‘TaKe’ Gehlen, pro-gamer from the early days and internationally popular caster, will also be there. During a live show, the pair will be demonstrating the incredible opportunities and extraordinary flexibility offered by the new software, how Power-Grid works when playing a game, plus they’ll be sharing some of their secret tips. It goes without saying that the popular gamers will be available to answer questions, sign autographs and have their pictures taken after the show.
The cutting-edge technology and one-of-a-kind, innovative features of the ROCCAT Innovations will get gamers and fans really fired up. At the ROCCAT stand, the gamescom public will already be able to try out initial prototypes of new products that aren’t available yet.
René Korte, CEO & Founder of ROCCAT: “Gamescom is a special challenge and I’m really looking forward to offering visitors a stand design that’s going to blow away all the spectacular appearances we’ve made in the past.”
