Microsoft confirms IE10 for Windows 7

The status of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 is no longer a mystery.

Whereas the Microsoft KB article on the availability of IE10 originally stated:

Note: Internet Explorer 10 is included in Windows 8. It is not available for Windows 7 or earlier versions

The latest revision of the article (revised on August 21, 2012) contains the following wording:

Note Internet Explorer 10 is included in Windows 8. It is not yet available for Windows 7.

We now know it is coming, but the launch date is still unknown.
